What You Should Know About Low hCGMy own experiences with low initial HCG counts have usually resulted in an early miscarriage, unfortunately. Having said that, I've also read stories with positive outcomes Hoping you will be one of the lucky ones! Unfortunately only time will really tell. My HCG wasn't too too low, I don't remember initial numbers, but it definitely wasn't doubling.

Unfortunately only time will really tell. My HCG wasn't too too low, I don't remember initial numbers, but it definitely wasn't doubling. When I first met with my MFM doctor, he seemed surprised at first that we didn't MC this one, but then he told me that technically, your HCG could be at 0, but as long as you eventually see a scan of your little one with a heartbeat, your HCG doesn't matter.
So just wait it out. Hopefully your next test will show improvement! Just got today's results and HCG is up to ! So its still doubling, still low, and I'm still bleeding - by now its longer than a period I wish I could DO something, like stay on bedrest or something, but my Dr. Also, I'm still BF-ing my 1 yr old. I asked my dr. Any experience with this? He still nurses very often.
The reason he's recommending this is because breast feeding can cause contractions in some cases and cause a miscarriage. There's a chance that's what's risking the pregnancy. This is my third pregnancy and at 5 weeks I had a big bright red bleed, it lasted a few weeks but it turned out I had a SCH. I was also breast feeding my now 2 year old. I didn't stop feeding her during the say 4 weeks of bleeding but have since weened her off as she is old enough.
Just try and take it easy. I found the more active I was the more bleeding I have. Unfortunately it's just a matter of waiting it out. Will be thinking of you. Hi I went to walmart and decided to buy a pregnancy test which it came out positive but one line was darker than the other one later that same day I started spotting only 2 times and I went to the ER hospital the doctor said my blood test hormone levels were 24 which she said I only had day of being pregnant or I will probably have a miscarriage I did another pregnancy test of clearBlue which it tells you wether you how many weeks do I have mine came up weeks.
And I'm confused is having low hormones at 2 weeks normal????? Can someone help me plss my spotting stopped completely. Thank you yes I have a appointment on Friday!
TG its rising beautifully.. Should I be worried about an ectopic? Thinking of you and hoping that your latest test results were good! For what it's worth, my MIL bled for several weeks during her first trimester with two of her four successful pregnancies. So, there are definitely cases where it doesn't mean anything terrible.
I just wish i can know something sooner.. Oh yeah, that really will seem like a long time to wait, I'm sure! But I'm so glad to hear your counts are still rising and it's not ectopic It's still early to see the heartbeat, as you probably know, so don't stress about that. Please keep us posted as you find out more, and try to take it as easy as possible in the meantime. I know there are various schools of thought about bed rest, but I think everyone agrees it's good not to overdo it.
